See you June 10th, DC!

By Integrated Schools | June 1, 2018

You are invited to Integrated Schools DC’s next event!

 Towards Integrated and Equitable Schools

June 10th, 1:30pm-3:30pm
Petworth Neighborhood Library, 4200 Kansas Ave NW, Washington, DC 20011

Decades after Brown v. Board of Education, schools in DC are still profoundly segregated and unequal. What can we do about it? We’ll kick off with a short panel discussion with education leader Andre Perry and DCPS teacher Clare Berke, then break into working groups to discuss how residents can support integrated and equitable public schools in the District.

Snacks will be provided and childcare is available, email to let us know if you need it. Please RSVP by email to [email protected] or by clicking “Going” on our Facebook event page.
Best wishes,
Vanessa Williamson
p.s. This is a public event, so please share the event widely. Forward this email, share the Facebook page, post on parent listservs, help get the word out… thank you!
