Seattle School Board Candidate Survey

Seattle School Board elections for Districts 1, 2, 3 and 6 are this fall (the list of candidates can be found here). The primary is August 6 (you should have or be receiving ballots soon), and the general election is November 5th. We asked candidates questions about segregation, integration, equity and gentrification so that folks who care about these issues can inform themselves. Integrated Schools is not endorsing candidates, but we encourage you to review the answers, paying attention to policy ideas, but more importantly to ways candidates will deeply engage community, particularly Black and Brown and other marginalized communities, on how problems of inequity, segregation and resource hoarding can be identified and solved.  Click here for the Survey Results!
