Integrated Schools’ Fall Chapter Gathering: the only way we win is together!

Dec. 4-7, 2025 in Columbus, OH

Each of us is helping to build a movement with every conversation, every connection. This fall, let’s gather together in person to build relationships, talk honestly about challenges, grow as organizers, and draw strength and joy from being part of a community that inspires and sustains us in this work.

Together, Chapter Leaders will:

  • gain skills and strategies for growing their chapters and for working with local partners to advocate for equitable and vibrant public schools
  • collectively define what it means to be a change agent in the context of IS chapters, share tools and ideas, and support each other in setting goals and outlining action plans that we can take back to our chapters.

We encourage attendees to book air travel sooner rather than later, flying in and out of CMH Airport in Columbus.

Costs:

Integrated Schools will be supporting this gathering financially.  All meals will be provided. There is no registration fee. And we will be offering travel stipends (see more below).  We ask that those who feel comfortable covering their lodging and travel costs to please do so, in order that we can provide lodging and travel assistance for those who require financial support to be able to participate.

Chapter Leaders:

Integrated Schools is committed to making it financially possible for each chapter to send at least one representative. Complete the RSVP (Google form) to indicate what level of support (if any) your chapter will need to be able to participate. We really want to see you there in person!

Network Contacts:

Are you already doing outreach in your community? Looking for opportunities to work with local integration/education justice groups and possibly start a local Integrated Schools chapter? This Fall Gathering is open to you, too! Complete the RSVP (Google form). If you require support for lodging/travel expenses, use the RSVP form to let us know.

Board Members:

We are looking forward to holding our December Board meeting in person in Columbus the weekend of the gathering. You are encouraged to participate in any or all of the Fall Gathering sessions. This is an opportunity for board members, national program staff and local volunteers to get to know each other and understand how the different pieces of our work fit together to support our mission.
